Our Philosophy

At J. Ring Glass Studio we believe that creativity begins with a solid understanding of technique. It is our objective to offer classes with the very best instruction available so that students will be introduced to new and traditional methods of glass working at the professional level. Our educational program is backed by over 30 years of experience.

We view art glass as a vibrant, exciting medium, and we feel that glass workers and artists should have a large selection of quality products and tools to choose from. With that in mind, we have filled our 14,000 square foot warehouse with a vast array of beautiful and useful objects, and are continually adding new items as the industry advances.

Joe and Susan wrote a series of articles on kiln formed glass for Stained Glass Magazine from 1979 to 1985.
