Our Goal is to have the lowest prices and the best selection in the Midwest. In order to achieve this, we cannot accept exchanges or returns.
Damaged or Defective Merchandise
Please inspect your order immediately on arrival. Note any damage to the outside of the box when it is delivered. Do not dispose of any packing material until you verify everything in your order is correct and there are no damaged items. If you have any problems with a shipment you must notify us within five days of receipt.
Placing an Order
You can place an order by using our website www.jringglass.com. For items that are not listed on our website but are sold in our store, enter the J. Ring item number in the comment section at checkout. We will add these to the order depending on their availability. For any items you wish to order that you do not have a J. If an item is out of stock on your order, it will be deleted from your order. You will only be notified of the shortage and asked for a substitution if you request it in the ordering instructions or the comment section at checkout.
There is an option at check out for you to do an in-store pickup for your order. There is a default in the ordering system that automatically alerts the customer when they order a sheet larger than can be shipped in a box. It directs the customer to contact J Ring Glass if they want the order shipped and it only gives the option for In-Store Pickup. If you want the order shipped you must contact us otherwise your order will be handled as a pickup at our store. As an In-Store Pickup order it will be pulled, packed, processed and ready for pickup, unless you requested otherwise in the comments box at checkout. We will then notify you that it is ready for pickup and an appointments must be made for pickups at our store by contacting us by email or voicemail. Orders place before noon on a business day will be available for pickup the next business day in the afternoon. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays so they are not considered business days. All items ordered that are listed on our web-site will be shipped FedEx or Spee-Dee Delivery Service and the charges will be noted in your total. Spee-Dee serves the local seven state area: Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. When placing an order your zip-code will determine if Spee-Dee is an option. There are some exceptions - full sheets of glass and other oversized items. Noted oversize items such as larger glass kilns can only be picked up or shipped from our store location. Shipping is F.O.B. Call or email us for a shipping price quote.
Any items you wish to order that do not have a J. Ring item number must be ordered off-line.
We ship anywhere in the continental USA and Canada, but items that are freight paid by J Ring Glass must be in the continental USA. Any order to Canada will have additional charges.
Orders that are shipped within the state of Minnesota or picked up at our store will be charged 7.625% sales tax unless a Minnesota ST3 form is on file with us.
Time Limits and Ordering Process
Please allow for the following times for order processing:
* Sheet Glass 5 to 10 working days
* Kilns and Power Tools 1 to 5 working days
* Hand Tools, Chemicals, Metals, and Misc. 1 to 3 working days
Your order may be delayed in shipping for the following reasons:
* Your credit card was not approved.
* We are waiting for a response concerning questions or for customer approval.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards. The credit card provided will be charged for an order when it is shipped.
