Learn to bead a glass ball ornament using the technique of tubular netting. This type of ornament decoration was popular in the Victorian era, when beading was common in the design of home accessories. If you start now, you can be ahead of the frantic rush of next year’s holiday as you make heirloom ornaments for gifts and personal enjoyment. No previous beading experience is required for this class. The class will meet for two sessions to allow for homework. Tools and materials are not included with the cost of tuition. The glass ball will be provided at no additional charge.
Materials: Size 11/0 Seed Beads (Approx. 10gr) 21 - 4mm glass pearls or crystals (add more for fringing)
Tools: Tulip Beading Needle Beading Thread Scissors or Thread Clipper
