This introduction to stained glass window construction class uses the traditional lead came technique. The curriculum used in this class was developed over a forty-five year period with more than two thousand students completing the coarse. The class size is small with a maximum of ten students so each student will receive the attention needed to be successful.
Students will complete a 12” x 14” window learning basic techniques of pattern preparation, glass cutting, soldering and leaded glass assembly.
Tools and materials, which are not included with the tuition, will cost approximately $200.00.
At the end of this five session class there will be an additional free demonstration session on the sixth week to show students how to layout and prepare their own pattern designs.
J Ring Glass requires all students taking classes to wear fully closed shoes (no exposed toes or foot tops).
