Jen-Ken Bead Annealer 11/4.5 With 2" Flip Door Kiln
#11343 Jen-Ken Bead Annealer 11/4.5 With 2" Flip Door Kiln
11" wide x 4.5" deep with 2" side flip door.
This kiln is the same model as the Bead Annealer 11/4.5 except it has a 2” wide flip door installed on the side. This feature makes it one of the most convenient kilns for inserting beads that are still attached to a mandrel into the chamber for annealing. A separate ceramic brick is included as an accessory item if you choose to use the kiln for glass fusing. When inserted into the opening behind the flip door, the ceramic brick seals out air that could flow into the kiln and cause glass to crack during the fusing process.
This kiln has a manual control with a read-out gauge, so you need to watch the temperature gauge and turn the kiln off manually when you reach the desired temperature.
The interior space that is 11” wide by 4 1/2“ deep. It uses 110-120 electric current with 13 amps, which means you can plug it into any grounded household outlet. Included with the kiln is a 9” x 11” hexagon shelf, posts, kiln wash, and fire bricks to set the kiln on.
