Made of a light-weight rigid fiber, this kiln heats and cools quickly to allow you to perform multiple firings in a day. It is built in a clam shell design, so the lid can be propped open while projects are assembled on the kilns’ 16” X 16” raised work surface. (The work surface should be covered with shelf paper, fiber board or lava cloth.) This kiln uses top firing elements incased in quartz tubes for even heating with direct infrared heat rays. Maximum temperature is 1700 degrees. The kiln requires a 120v, 15 Amp circuit. It has a relay pilot safety light and a safety relay.
This kiln only weighs 45 pounds, so it is easy to transport. Its AutoFire three button digital control holds forty plus preprogrammed schedules.
The stand is a built-in with adjustable leveling feet.
